President - Chris Yoosefi

Chris Yoosefi is an ALB Degree Candidate majoring in Business Administration and Management with certifications in Professional Communications and Organizational Behavior. A late bloomer to higher education, Chris seriously began studies in his mid-thirties at Los Angeles Valley College, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2017, before applying to Harvard Extension School.

An ambitious entrepreneur, Chris has always found joy in creating something from nothing. From inventing, patenting and selling the Socket Roll ™ to owning and operating several small businesses over the years, Chris’ dedication and hard work continues to pay dividends. Chris has served on his city’s Small Business Association and has plans to run for an elected City Council position. Generous with his time and resources, when asked, Chris offers guidance to other small business owners and freely gives to charitable organizations such as the Los Angeles Dream Center which focuses on the housing and rehabilitation of Angelenos in need. A Veteran advocate in the realm of mental health, Chris has developed policies which aim to curb the frequency of suicide amongst service members after separation from active duty. He plans to pitch to the appropriate parties after graduation in May 2024.  

Along with his academic, volunteer and political pursuits, Chris owns and operates a successful government contracting business. He has been blessed to find a partner, in his wife Espee, that supports him with his endeavors and keeps him grounded in his faith.

 

Vice President - Josh Harris

Josh Harris (HESVSS Vice President) is an ALM candidate in religion scheduled to graduate in 2024. He is currently based in the Jackson, Mississippi area. Josh is an Army retiree, having travelled just about everywhere over a 23-year career. Favorite (and not-so-favorite) assignments include Panama, South Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Israel, Jordan, and Kuwait. He is also an actor, director, and producer, a parallel career he managed to maintain throughout his service in the Army. Josh is currently the President and Artistic Director of Uproar Theatre Company, a performing arts organization in the Jackson area.

 

 

Outreach Coordinator - Juan Campana

jcJuan Campana is a distinguished bilingual Operation Iraqi Freedom, Marine Corps Veteran and with over 18 years of proven expertise in federal, higher education, non-profit, private sectors, and multiple deployments within the U.S. Department of State, Diplomatic Security Service.

His academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Intelligence and Security Studies from The Citadel, where he served as the Chapter President of the Citadel Student Veterans Association and later on The Citadel Alumni Association as a member of the Board of Directors. Currently pursuing an International Security Graduate Certificate at Harvard Extension School, Juan is recognized for his commitment advocating for veterans' right including; Traumatic Brain Injury, Alternative, and Psychedelic Assisted Therapies.

Additionally, he currently serves on the South Carolina Advisory Committee for the US Global Leadership Coalition, contributing to shaping public discourse on America's global leadership at both local and national levels.

 

 

Director of Technology - Cole Tibbs

CTCole Tibbs is an ALM Candidate in Psychology currently conducting his thesis on human performance optimization. He holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Graphic Communication. As a Navy Cryptologist, he led a two-time intelligence excellence award-winning team in conducting Maritime Information Operations during deployment to Fifth and Sixth Fleet. Cole is a business owner and regional director of a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for mental health support for veterans.

Currently working as a research assistant at the Recovery Research Institute at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, Cole investigates alcohol and substance use disorder treatment and recovery. In the future, he hopes to expand this research into veteran populations, focusing on mitigating mental health crises in recently separated veterans. He also works as a behavior technician and mental health worker, providing therapeutic support to children with autism and patients in the largest private psychiatric hospital in Massachusetts.

Cole is committed to a career in medicine and mental health. Building upon his wide breadth of research and clinical experience, he intends to pursue medical school, specializing in Psychiatry, enabling him to provide medical care to veterans for decades to come.
