Heerraa is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia who's on a mission to change the world with music. A songwriter, composer and producer, Heerraa's songs are played on radio stations around the world, even featured in games, conference theme songs and film. For her lyrics and vocal performance, she has received multiple awards including the "ICon Award" and "Best in North America (Pop)" (InterContinental Music Awards, LA) and "Best Female Single of the Year" (ISSA Awards, Atlanta). Aside from her music, Heerraa is a co-founder of Ascendance, a global youth organization and social enterprise that has impacted 58,000 students in 28 countries where she previously served as their COO and is their current Advisor. For their humanitarian work, Heerraa and her co-founders were awarded The Diana Award from the UK in 2019. 

Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Liberal Arts at Harvard Extension School, Heerraa received the Dean's List Honors for her academic performance. With HESA, Heerraa hopes to create more opportunities for student interaction and connectivity across HES' diverse global community.
