Dear HESA Community,
As the leaves begin to change and the crispness of fall returns, we find ourselves at the start of yet another academic year at the Harvard Extension School. On behalf of the entire HESA board, it is our honor, as your President and Vice President, to welcome you to what promises to be an enriching and transformative semester.
To those returning, welcome back!! To our newcomers, a warm welcome to our community. The road ahead is filled with possibilities, and we are thrilled to be part of your Extension School journey.
Over the summer, our team has been hard at work planning a host of activities, events, and initiatives that aim to enhance your student experience. We are especially excited about the Professor Spotlights, networking events, and various info sessions tailored to cater to the diverse interests and needs of our student body. That's just the beginning! There's so much more in store, and we can't wait to share it all with you.
Building a strong, connected, and supportive community is at the heart of what HESA stands for. We hope to foster an environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued. Your voice matters, and we are always eager to hear your thoughts, ideas, and feedback.
In closing, we wish to remind you that while academic pursuits are a significant part of our journey here, the relationships we build and the memories we create truly enrich our experiences. We encourage you to actively participate, engage with your peers, and make the most of all the opportunities that come your way.
Stay tuned for updates, and here's to a fruitful and fulfilling academic year!
With warm regards,
Emina Dedic, HESA President
Danielle Nuchereno, HESA Vice President
